OUR STANDARDS
Corrections Policy
How to report a factual error or image concern, and how we review and correct it.
Report a Possible Error
Email thesacredinkk@gmail.com with the article URL, the statement or image concerned, and a brief explanation. Include supporting sources or original image information when available.
How We Assess Reports
Darlyna Brooks oversees website publishing and the handling of corrections, with content or image matters referred to the relevant contributor as needed. Assessment can include revisiting an original source, checking an attribution, or distinguishing a factual claim from an editorial interpretation.
A report does not automatically establish that a statement is wrong. Where evidence is incomplete or conflicting, the wording should reflect that uncertainty. We may ask for clarification when a report does not identify the relevant material.
Significant Corrections
When an error materially affects an article’s meaning, guidance, or attribution, we correct it and add a dated note explaining the change. Unsupported health or safety claims should be removed or qualified while they are assessed.
We do not guarantee a fixed response time, but a clear report with relevant evidence helps us review the issue.
Minor Edits and Updates
Spelling, punctuation, formatting, and routine link repairs can be made without a formal correction notice. Substantial updates should be reflected accurately rather than described as a complete review when only one detail changed.
Image and Rights Concerns
An image credit does not resolve every question about ownership or permission. We assess rights and attribution reports separately and may revise, replace, or remove material as appropriate. A correction process does not replace the need for a valid basis to use an image.
